From Coach Coleman: “Couldn’t be prouder to be a part of a club like ours. I never would have imagined it would grow into what it has. This season has been really special. My hat goes off to these kids man, special thanks to the ones who were part of it from the beginning; they knuckled through the old moldy building, the deer target foam mats, the stinky kerosene heaters that never came close to getting the room warm enough, and the countless tournaments where almost nobody on the team won a match. They never gave up on it. They just kept coming back every practice… every year….. and five years later they came out on the other end holding a conference championship plaque. I’m so thankful for those tough, hard-nosed kids man! They define the attitude and toughness our wrestlers take with them on the mat. And they’ve earned it…. Because victory is for those committed to the journey!”
